Draths Corporation was founded in December 2005 to commercialize technology developed in the laboratory of John Frost and Karen Draths.  A research facility was established in Okemos, Michigan and the first employees were hired in April, 2007.  Using private funding from multiple sources, Draths recently initiated strategic scale-up efforts by building product and process development facilities at its new corporate headquarters in Plymouth, Minnesota.
